BULLDOGS BASEBALL PITCHING/CATCHING CLINIC

Ages: 9-15

Time: 12:00-2:00pm

Cost: $65 pitchers/$45 catchers

This clinic will be run by Bulldogs Program Director, Greg Allain, as well as other Bulldogs coaching staff. The clinic will focus on proper mechanics, throwing strikes, increasing velocity for pitchers as well as receiving, blocking, and throwing out runners for catchers

Greg Allain’s Bio:

Greg Allain brings years of experience in the game of baseball both as a player and as an instructor.  As a player, Greg played high school baseball in Berlin, NH and was an All-State player his senior year.  Upon graduation from Berlin High School, Greg attended Endicott College in Beverly, MA where he was a four-year starter both as a pitcher and a first baseman.  He graduated from Endicott in 2005 with a degree in Sport Management.  Upon graduation from Endicott, Greg signed a professional contract as a first baseman with the Alexandria Aces and later with the San Angelo Colts of the United Baseball League.

After his playing career was over, Greg turned his attention to teaching the game of baseball.  He worked over a year with Frozen Ropes Training Centers in Massachusetts as a Lead Instructor, overseeing other instructors at those facilities.  Greg worked under Steven Abbatine, Director of Operations for the parent company, Frozen Ropes Baseball Company.  He also participated as an instructor at the National Summer Camp held in Cape Cod.

In September 2012, Greg was inducted into the Endicott College Athletic Hall of Fame, becoming the third baseball player in program history to receive the honor.

As the founder of the Bulldogs travel baseball program in 2015, Greg has coached and helped numerous students into the college ranks. Under Greg, the Bulldogs programs have won two Elite Baseball League titles (12U and 14U) as well as placing in several other regional and national tournaments. In 2019, the 17U Bulldogs were ranked as the #4 team in New England by Perfect Game as well as earned a national honorable mention ranking. In 2021, the 13U Bulldogs won the NB Select New Hampshire State Title.

Beginning in 2020, Greg took over as the varsity baseball coach at Fryeburg Academy.
